Spatial Object Types derived from the Use Cases.

Several types of spatial object were identified in the 11 Use Cases. The left hand side of this table shows which object types exist in which use cases. The right hand side shows how the object types might be mapped to known information types in existing data models or application schemas.

  • CDM = Unidata Common Data Model
  • CSML = Climate Science Modelling Language - CSML version 3 Poster showing O&M and CDM links
  • AIXM = Aeronautical Information Exchange Model
  • WOML = Weather Objects Modelling Language
  • WXXM = Weather information Exchange Model
