Summary and conclusions Clemens Portele, facilitators
The end time of the workshop will depend on the discussions, but will be no later than 17:55.

Remarks:
  • All times and agenda items are subject to change and may be adapted as needed
  • Presentations should focus on
    • which parts of GML they are using/supporting
    • what in GML works well for them/their community
    • issues they have with the current version
    • additional capabilities that would help them
  • Depending on the number of participants we may want to split the discussion into parallel groups
  • In each discussion session the facilitator will go through the key issues for the topic that we are aware of or which were raised in statements or presentations; the poll results about Change Request priorities will be used as input, too
  • One item to clarify in the discussion is the expectation what "backwards compatibility" means (preservation of instances? impact of namespace changes? etc)
  • We will use more time for the summary/conclusion part if we run parallel discussion sessions
